As winners of the Under 13 Northants County Plate Competition, the Year 8 Elite Netball Squad automatically qualified for the under 13 Northants County Cup competition.
The girls knew the competition would be challenging, and although they lost five of their six games, they didn't give up and played some textbook netball.
Northampton Academy's last game against Northampton School for Girls showed the character and tenacity of the players. The squad was determined to win, and with great teamwork and determination, they finished on a high, winning the game 4-2.
Northampton Academy came 5th overall.
