This week, the Northampton Academy Year 7 Elite Football Squad were elated to win their County Cup semi-final against Northampton School for Boys.
The squad showed tremendous attitude and character in a competitive semi-final away at NSB. Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the players demonstrated outstanding resilience and determination to equalise ten minutes into the first half before scoring what proved to be the winning goal with only eight minutes to go.
Every member of the squad contributed to the result, and they eagerly await their chance to play in the final against the winners of the other semi-final Campion or Sponne.
