On Friday, 8th September, nine Year 13 students and two staff members attended the 'We Have Ways' festival. The globally popular podcast of the same name, hosted by historian James Holland and comedian Al Murray, is about the history of the Second World War.
The focus of the festival this year was 1943. Students were treated to various talks from behind-the-lines operations in Burma to Stalingrad. There was also a large variety of military vehicles and equipment that students could get up and personal with, helping them better understand events that occurred 80 years ago. Northampton Academy was very fortunate to get tickets for the event, and all who attended had a great time.
