A group of Year 12 students recently went on a trip to Durham University, which is part of the prestigious Russell Group. They stayed overnight at Collingwood College and enjoyed the opportunity to explore the beautiful and historic city of Durham.
At the university, the students participated in enlightening sessions about personal statements and university life and also attended taster lectures on psychology and physics. The university staff was impressed with our students' knowledge and participation throughout the trip.
Mrs Tustin-Reeves, the trip leader, said:
"This trip was a wonderful opportunity for our students to gain exposure to top universities and explore various subjects they can study at higher education. Throughout the trip, our students displayed excellent character and were exemplary role models and ambassadors of Northampton Academy's Sixth Form. I am extremely proud of them."
