Nurture students show the schools values as they raise £205 for cancer charities.
On Thursday 13th December, 45 students from our school’s Year 7 and 8 nurture provision hosted a Christmas Fair. It was a wonderful day, with lots of activities to participate in. The fair was very enjoyable and exciting, it helped the students develop the school core values of Respect, Determination and Ambition. The students not only worked brilliantly as a team, but they were also determined to raise as much money as possible.
The students designed and manned their own stalls, a great way to develop and boost their confidence. Students were very excited to welcome their parents and carers to the fair for the first time.
We were very proud of the £205.00 raised and students have decided they would like to donate the money to cancer charities, which will be distributed in the New Year.
