Wednesday 19th January - Abbeyfield v Northampton Academy (A)
Our Year 10 Elite Netball squad played against Abbeyfield School this week and secured a convincing win of 33 goals to nil.
Northampton Academy took control of the game very early taking a lead of 0-14 at the end of the first quarter. The team continued to dominate the game and came away with a very convincing win. Most Valuable Player went to Mea who had a strong game at Goal Attack and Layla and Aarya from Year 9 held their own and complimented the Year 10 squad. Congratulations to all the team who showed true determination throughout.

Thursday 20th - Northampton Academy v Wootton Park School (H)
Northampton Academy Year 8 played their first game against Wootton Park School and also had a convincing win of 30 goals to 1.
From the start of the school year, this year group has really progressed in terms of their netball skill level and it was pleasing to see this in all players performances. Most Valuable Player went to Leah who gave a strong performance dominating the court in the Centre position.
Well done both teams. Although good results, as always, work is still to be done on certain aspects of the game which I am confident they will take on board and bring to the next game.
