As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Year 10 GCSE Business students an event with our enterprise partner Travis Perkins.

Travis Perkins delivered a session to expand our students' knowledge of apprenticeships and all they involve. Apprentices with Travis Perkins, Phil, Portia and Mel provided insights into their daily working lives. In addition, the apprentices invited students to ask questions to broaden their understanding of this rewarding, hands-on route.

Our visitors shared details of their route into the company, the application process, the skills they have developed and the opportunities available to them for the future. Students will use these insights to evaluate their post 16 options next year.
