A group of Year 10 students have undergone a rigorous application process and have been chosen to participate in a sports development project in South Africa in April 2024. The project aims to uplift a local community through sports and improve the students' critical skills, which they can apply in other areas of their lives. The students will work with local and qualified professional coaches during the project.

Mrs Ashton and Mrs Rigby announced the selection to the chosen students, and we saw some very happy faces.

One of the students expressed their excitement, saying, "I never thought I would be lucky enough to get selected. At first, I couldn't believe it. I am delighted with this amazing opportunity that the school has provided me with."
