National Sports Week is running from Monday 19th - Friday 23rd June.
As a school, we are supporting this initiative, which aims to promote 60 active minutes per day through play for fun, known as 'Play for 60'. During the week, we will have a range of challenges at lunchtime, such as 'beat the teacher' and 'beat the clock' in a range of activities as well as different tournaments after school.
Students can fill out a 60-minute booklet to try and hit their 60 minutes of recommended activity per day, where they will be entered into a prize draw if they hit the target. If students want to participate, the books are available on the display board outside of the PE office, alongside team sheets for tournaments which need to be returned by Friday, 16th June, into the slip box near the PE office.
We would love to see as many students participate as possible!
