Year 10 and 12 Geography students received a presentation from Greg Spellman and Danielle Bird from the University of Northampton. Greg, Senior Lecturer in Environmental Science and Danielle Bird, Energy Officer, discussed the effects of climate change and how universities are supporting students to study subjects to combat the problems facing society.
The University of Northampton's Climate Change BSc explores this important subject's environmental, socio-economic, and political aspects. The course prepares students with the understanding and skills to work in the expanding climate change sector. This is Greg and Danielle's second visit to the Academy, and the Geography and Careers Departments would like to thank them for their time and for sharing their insights into this fascinating subject.
