Students and staff celebrated the end of another busy and successful academic year at our annual Charity Summer Fair.
The event, which raises funds for the schools' three chosen charities, Cynthia Spencer Hospice, The Hope Centre, and Street Child, is a festival of fun for students to attend on the last day of the summer term. Each year group was allocated one hour at the fair, and we are thankful to the army of student and staff helpers who generously volunteered their time to run the stalls and provide the background music for the event.
The weather was on our side, so the event occurred outside on the rubber crumb and sports field. Students had the opportunity to participate in activities, which included sports events such as football games and penalty shootouts. There were numerous stalls, such as henna and glitter tattoos, face painting, hook-a-duck, and numerous inflatables, not forgetting the ever-popular 'Sponge a Teacher'.
An ice cream van was on hand, which proved popular, and students could also purchase a variety of snacks and drinks.
