On Tuesday 22nd October, the Sports Leaders Team held an 'Open Audition' Session to recruit 10 new members for the team.

It was incredible to see such an amazing turn out, with 48 students from Year 7-10 turning up to demonstrate their passion and skills.

The students were challenged with leading warm ups, problem solving and adaptability tasks as well as an opportunity to share the reasons 'why' they wanted to join the team.

It was an amazing event, with so many of our character values on show, it will be very difficult to decide on who will be successful this year, in their application. All students who attended will ne notified via letter/email to confirm whether they have been successful.

For those who aren't offered a place this year, please remember there is a wealth of leadership opportunities available at Northampton Academy, you can demonstrate the character value of resilience, by not being deterred by one setback, and trying again next year.
