Two students from Year 7 are excited to be performing on the London stage this year.
As part of the Starlight Stage School, run by choreographer Jacc Andrew Batch, Connie, who has been a keen dancer from a young age has been selected to appear at The Royal Albert Hall in May, with Junior Dance B. Following this, in July, she will be performing at Wembley Stadium at the Rugby World Cup final alongside other dance schools.
Busy Connie is also set to perform more locally in 'Decade' at the Lighthouse Theatre Kettering, then at the Burton Latimer Christmas lights switch-on, both of which take place in November. Connie said: "I can't wait, I'm sure I will love every moment of it!"
Fellow Form 7A student Grace is looking forward to appearing Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End musical, 'School of Rock' at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Grace, who has had no formal singing training auditioned for the show and was accepted into the theatre's rock and soul school.
Grace has been singing to her peers in assembly this week, and she has an amazing voice. Here is a video of Grace singing in assembly:
