A group of digital leaders visited Earls Barton Primary School to deliver an e-safety assembly on WhatsApp and group chats. They also covered the dangers of using social media. There was positive feedback from the Year 5 and 6 students at the school, who were very engaged, asking questions and getting involved in the Chinese whispers.
This was an excellent opportunity for our Digital Leaders to share their knowledge with the community and show their leadership and organisational skills.
Following the event, Earls Barton Primary tweeted: "Special thanks to the wonderful students from Northampton. Academy for leading an e-safety assembly on the potential dangers of social media to our Y5 and Y6 children today. It certainly made them think!"
Well done to our Digital Leaders.
