A group of Year 12 students took part in a trip to visit Durham University, part of the Russell Group. The students enjoyed an overnight stay at Collingwood College and had the opportunity to explore the historic city of Durham.
At the university, the students enjoyed informative sessions about personal statements and university life, in addition to taster lectures in psychology and physics. The staff at the university were highly impressed with the knowledge and participation of our students.
Mrs Tustin-Reeves, the trip leader, said: "This was a great opportunity for our students to explore top universities further away and see a variety of subjects they can study at higher education. I was very proud of the students' character throughout the trip, as they were all excellent role models and ambassadors of Northampton Academy's Sixth Form."
