Congratulations to our Geography department that has achieved the Geographical Association's Secondary Geography Quality Mark.
This process required the department to evidence against key indicators outlined by the Geographical Association, where the department critically reflects on how it meets each criterion and then illustrates these with evidence. This process ensures that there is a high-quality geography education for all students in the school and supports in identifying the next steps towards excellence.
Head of Geography Jennifer Ryrie said: "We are really proud of all of the hard work from both students and the Geography department that has allowed us to make this achievement. We now look forward to using what we have learnt from this progress to further develop our engaging and successful curriculum."
