Earlier this week, 70 Elite Sport students from Years 7 and 8 attended an interactive workshop delivered by our Principal, Mr Jones.
The workshop emphasised the focus on 'Preparation for the 2024-2025 season' in Term 3. During the workshop, Mr. Jones challenged the students to reflect on their goals and understand the necessary steps to achieve them. He used Sir Dave Brailsford's career and the GB Olympic Rowing Team's success in the Sydney Games of 2000 as examples. By the end of the workshop, everyone left with a reflective question: "Will it make the boat go faster?".
