Northampton Academy has entered two pieces of art by students Prendia and Nadia, into the International High School Arts Festival.
Five talented United Learning pupils will have their artwork displayed at the National Art Centre in Tokyo, Japan, representing the United Kingdom in the International High School Arts Festival.
Additionally, the overall winning artist will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Japan to see the exhibition, courtesy of the International Foundation for Arts and Culture (IFAC).
Judging will happen in two stages:
Stage 1: United Learning social media audience will cast their vote by ‘liking’ their favourite piece. These scores will be combined with votes from United Learning Art Teachers to shortlist 10 artworks to progress to stage 2.
Stage 2: United Learning Headteachers and a professional artist will vote on their favourite shortlisted piece. All votes from Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be added together to decide the winners.
Your votes will give them the best chance of winning this fantastic opportunity, please ‘like’ the pieces it and share them with your friends on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. ‘Likes’ will be tallied on Wednesday 12th February to shortlist the pieces for Stage 2.
