Head of Physical Education at Northampton Academy, Mr Neil Champelovier, recently helped National League side Tamworth to a famous victory against Huddersfield Town in the Emirates FA Cup.
Mr Champelovier is Tamworth's Assistant Manager, overseeing the 1-0 victory against Sky Bet League One side Huddersfield alongside Head Coach Andy Peaks.
The victory, which was shown live on the BBC, means Tamworth now progress through to Round 2 of the prestigious cup competition, where they'll come up against another League One outfit in the shape of Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.
Mr Champelovier, who joined Tamworth in 2022, said: "It was pure elation on the night. We were massive underdogs playing against a top side like Huddersfield — these opportunities don't come around very often.
"We put a plan together during training the week and to see that come to fruition against a full-time outfit was the most pleasing thing. It was a great night overall and something that will live long in the memory. The players fully deserved it and were good value for the win.
"Burton are another League One side, from a fans' perspective it's massive because it's a local derby and hopefully it's televised again. It's another big game and we'll go there with every intention of getting another positive result.
"Myself and Andy were both at Rushden & Diamonds, we took over at Tamworth in February 2022 and it's been a strong rise since. We won the National League North last season which was our second successive promotion, and we're really pleased with how it's going."
Everyone at the Academy wishes Mr Champelovier all the best for the upcoming fixture!
