On Wednesday 4th March our Year 9 STEM 10 team took to the road to enter the Regional Heat of Tomorrow’s Engineer Robotic Competition.
As a team, they participated in a variety of robotic challenges including presentations, robot creation and design and an on the spot teamwork challenge.
The judges were impressed with their confidence, their adaptability and resilience, their teamwork and the iterations of their robot in addition to their actual robot design and performance.
They were delighted to be awarded the top trophy, competing against around 8 other schools. They would be preparing for the National Finals in Birmingham, but unfortunately, the event had to be cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
Congratulations to Aauysh, Adbul-Hak, Bhavya, Domantas, Edwin, Jessica, Liam, Molly and Neal.
