Tara Flight, Radiographer DCR (R), PgC LTHE, FHEA and lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire was the second professional of the year to present at one of Northampton Academy’s Year 12 ‘Breakfast With A Professional’ series.
This is Tara’s second breakfast visit and she proves a fantastic advocate for Allied Health Careers. Tara is passionate about her profession and provided an thorough overview of the wide variety of skills required by those aiming to work in Radiology. Tara’s presentation included a brief history on x-ray and the vital part it has played in medical intervention and diagnostics ever since. Tara is always keen to ensure students are aware of the importance of career progression, and the obligation to undertake continuous professional development.
