A group of students traveled to the Rugby and Northampton Athletics Club to attend a trial session to see if it was an avenue they might like to pursue. All the students selected have demonstrated an aptitude and interest in the sport, performing well within the town/county championships.
It was fantastic to see the students training alongside club athletes, working with specialist coaches. The students learned a huge amount in a short space of time and showed real promise. Hopefully, they can continue with the club in both training and regional competitions.
