On Monday 18th November, Year 8 STEM enjoyed a trip to Silverstone — the legendary home of the British Grand Prix and MotoGP events!
Students learnt about the inner workings of what it takes to get a car onto the formula 1 track, and found out that it takes 1.8 million people across various different departments to get the 20 cars to the start line.
The lucky students also got to spend time exploring the Silverstone interactive museum as well as getting a guided tour of parts of the track.
A thoroughly enjoyable and informative day for all!
