Year 7 Medieval Project

Categories: Latest Academy News

Year 7 students have been studying the Norman Conquest and looking at different ways William Duke of Normandy defended England. Their homework was to research a medieval castle and present their work.

Students got very creative, we saw a variety of castles made from all kinds of materials and many written presentations. One student designed a typical Motte and Bailey castle, which was the first castles built by William to defend his crown, this castle was made out of delicious cake which was enjoyed by all.
