Students Study Local Culture and Conservation In Zanzibar

Categories: Latest Academy News, Featured

A group of students have recently returned from their trip to Zanzibar.

During their stay, they fully immersed themselves in the local culture and the study of conservation. They had the privilege of assisting the women of Zanzibar in their livelihood endeavours, contributing to sustainable economic practices. The students and their teachers had a humbling morning of farming, as seen in these photos, which provided valuable hands-on learning and deepened their connection to the community, fostering their personal growth.

This fantastic opportunity was funded by the Government's Turing scheme, which offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for personal and professional development for students.
