Northampton Academy was pleased to welcome Reverend Haydon Spenceley, Team Rector for the Emmanuel Group of Churches in Northampton.

Year 12 student, Mia Bates, has had an amazing cross country park run season. Completing all 5 races, coming in 1st in the under 17 section and finishing the series with an amazing 5k personal best.

Following years of campaigning by residents, a once tree-lined Far Cotton street may see its urban trees reinstated – in the first major planting for half-a-century.

The news comes after a recently released report by Northampton Academy student Ria, revealed that the trees in the Far Cotton area in Northampton have decreased by 58 percent over the last 60 years.

Congratulations to Year 10 students Cameron and Kelly, who have received awards for their community work with the Northamptonshire Emergency Service Cadets.

Last term a team of our Sports Leaders spent the day leading sports activities in golf and cricket at the Northampton School Sport Partnership 'Spirit of the Games' festival.
