In October, the Northampton Academy Sports Leaders Team hosted an ‘Open Recruitment’ session, where new prospective leaders could register their interest and demonstrate their skills, characteristics and qualities to the team.

In November, Nucleus STEM students received a lecture from Northampton Academy’s own Mrs Bell about the waste industry and various career paths available.

In October, eight Northampton Academy students took part in a one-day anti-bullying training session run by The Diana Award at another United Learning school, Kettering Buccleuch Academy. The young people worked alongside students from Kettering Buccleuch and other schools to acquire vital skills which will enable them to change the attitudes and behaviours of bullying at school, therefore building their skills and confidence to address different situations, both online and off.

 A small group of Northampton Academy students attended a sports festival on Thursday 6^th October at Thomas Becket School.

The students who have completed the FPQ/HPQ/EPQ presented their research last week during a 'Market Stall' style fair.
