The IET Faraday® Challenge is an annual competition featuring STEM activity days designed to be cross-curricular and involve hands-on activities across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Six teams of students were tasked with creating a prototype solution that included a working electrical circuit.
Each team documented their journey, prototyped their design, and delivered a presentation to their peers before the winner of the day was announced.
The design could be one of the following:
- A toy for children aged 2-5
- A sports machine to assist with injuries
Our students in 8S were given a limited amount of Faraday Dollars and were only allowed to use materials purchased from the Faraday shop to produce their prototypes. It was a great event, and everyone enjoyed the challenge. Well done to everyone involved!
