Our year 12 coachees attended a full-day coaching session to develop their skills and knowledge to become the first-ever trained student coaches in the academy. Our students had a full day seminar filled with role-playing activities, team building and problem-solving tasks, where they had to utilise the deep questioning skills they learnt throughout their 4-month coaching journey.

"The coaching programme, for me, was a fantastic experience, giving me a great deal of insight on how to enhance our communication and listening skills. It also taught us how to understand one another, and through coaching, I was able to feel that personal growth first-hand. It was a fantastic opportunity and my favourite quote from the day was, 'we can change the world through one conversation at a time'. The session really demonstrated the power of conversation and how we can reflect and develop just through talking and sharing ideas. The concept of personal growth really is complex, but thanks to the coaching programme, I feel as if I am starting to acknowledge the principles behind it, which I think is amazing."
