On Tuesday, Northampton Academy's students from Years 9 & 10 were invited to the University of Bedford.
Thirty students enjoyed a guided campus tour and gained invaluable experience in the different sports science labs.
Reaction times were taken, force plates were used for jump height, and resistance data were all measured, providing everyone with a practical demonstration of how Sport Science is applied to enhance an athlete's performance.
