On Tuesday, 15th November, our Sports Leaders had their second meeting of the academic year. Following our recent successful recruitment/audition event, and we were keen to welcome our new leaders to the team. It was lovely to see such a vibrant and buzzing room of students so passionate about sport, physical activity and leadership. After the welcome speeches and handing out of the much-coveted badges, we got onto the important business of planning our first event.
On Thursday, 24th November, we look forward to welcoming over 200 Year 5 students from our community primary schools to Northampton Academy. The Sports Leaders have been working hard and showing great determination to research and plan the sports and activity sessions for the primary school children. Their main focus for the planned activities will be on participation, engagement and, most of all, FUN!
We look forward to seeing all our leaders in action in the coming weeks.
