Northampton Academy is marking Safer Internet Day with the theme ‘Want to talk about it?’
The theme encourages students to think about their life online and to have open discussions about their digital lives.
Northampton Academy’s Digital Leaders have been working hard to think about ways we can promote the day. They will have a stand in the canteen displaying information on staying safe online and asking students to write down how they will create a kinder internet. They have also designed a PC background for the school's computers, recorded an assembly to present on the week commencing 28th February, and are running a competition for Years 7-10.
Competition:
Design a text adventure game on the theme of creating a safer internet. The Digital Leaders will create the winner's game and present them with a £10 Amazon voucher. Any students wanting to get involved in the competition should check the flexible task on Satchel. The deadline is 21st February 2023.
