Northampton Academy A Level Politics students were delighted to receive a visit from Art Conaghan, Head of Office for Andrew Lewer, MP for Northampton South. Art provided a brief overview of his career, revealing how studying Politics can connect and lead to a vast array of associated job roles. Art focussed student's attention on the importance of examining both sides of an argument, understanding opposing viewpoints to clarify one's own opinion.
Art advocated the importance of creating a broad network as a way of enlisting early career support and focusing on developing interpersonal skills, ensuring positive and effective working relationships.
