The Legal Apprentice is Kingsley Napley’s legal competition for first-year Key Stage 5 students

Nuffield Research Placements are engaging, hands-on research projects, where students have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the work of a host organisation.

Students interested in exploring careers in Law were invited to a workshop in Nottingham this week. The event was organised by an educational organisation called Young Professionals, who seek to introduce young people to professionals in order to gain advice on a range of pathways.

Simon Ruffles, Design Engineer for Cummins visited aspiring engineers in Year 12 & 13. Simon charted his own career journey, which started from a childhood desire to break things apart to see how they worked, to a 4-year post-16 apprenticeship, which provided him with practical skills, a fundamental view of engineering and a wealth of experience.
