Leah left Northampton Academy in 2018 and was successful in her application to study Medicine at the University of Sheffield. She is now in her third year of six.
Leah worked incredibly hard to achieve excellent GCSE and A Level results, making sure she gained voluntary experience, necessary for her healthcare aspirations.
Leah said: "I am currently a third-year medical student at the University of Sheffield. I have been working in the hospital over the summer. I have worked to help students from low socio-economic backgrounds who are applying for medical school. I am also currently writing an essay, which I hope to get published."
